Healthy Kids Happy Kids Foundation India
Visiting the Healthy Kids Happy Kids foundation in India founded by Dr. Satish Sikha for a 6 day trip. We spent time with the children and teachers in Blue Bell’s School, gave out free food, visited local communities, gave out birthday cakes, had pot making sessions among other activities. It warms my heart to see all the wonderful work they do to make children happy. I am honoured to have been asked to be their ambassador. You can read more about their work at http://www.sikha.com/

Travelling to Eastern Slovakia with Operation Orphan
I’m very honoured to have been chosen as an ambassador for the wonderful organisation Operation Orphan, a charity designed to bring a brighter future for orphans and vulnerable children around the world. I have travelled with them to Eastern Slovakia to see the incredible work they do first hand. We visited refugee camps and gave out warm clothing to children for the cold winter months. What is unique about the charity is that 100% of the donations go directly to the children. I hope to be able to work with them long term and to help them in every way I can to make a difference to these childrens lives. You can read more about the organisation here www.operation-orphan.org

The Litre of Light Foundation
Litre of Light foundation, which is a sustainable light project that aims to bring an eco friendly solar bottle bulb to low income communities all over Philippines and other countries. The Solar Bottle bulb is a low cost device made from PET soda bottles and a solution of water and chlorine. When the sun shines outside the bottles light up peoples homes who can otherwise not afford to have electricity so they have to live in the dark. It is almost as powerful as a electric light bulb yet its only made from PET bottles, water and chlorine! We had the chance to produce these light bottles in their work shop and later go to the poor communities within Manila and see how they work in peoples homes.
