I had the chance to meet Lu Sierra in New York who is the official catwalk coach for Miss Universe. We spent 3h together and she prepared me for what to expect at miss Universe and she taught me a bit how to walk and pose. You can see one of her Youtube clips below:

I had the best trip to NYC this time, everything which I had planned went ahead smoothly. On the Friday I had the pleasure to spend the day with Victoria Silvstedt and her friend Ulrika Johansson which both of them are former Miss Sweden’s so they gave me some good advice on my journey towards Miss Universe! We had lunch first at Nello’s the Italian place and then we had afternoon tea at the beautiful Plaza hotel.

On Saturday we had our first semi final for Miss Universe Sweden 2015 this time we were going to choose Miss Stockholm which is our first city in our tournament around Sweden. The winner of the night was Elise Sandblom! We also gave a gold card to Erna Kurtanovic which means she will also take part in Miss Universe Sweden 2015. Congratulations to you both well done!
I was the presenter of the evening together with Alexandra Friberg Miss Universe Sweden 2013, we were a good team on stage and I am happy how the evening went considering this was my first presenter job! Somehow I wasn’t nervous maybe because of my experience being on stage from Miss Earth.

One of the things to be prepared for Miss Universe is the national costume which will be made by Aviad Arik Herman. The one Alexandra Friberg (Miss Sweden 2013) had last year was so cool she looked like a sexy Viking! I wonder what he will design for me this year… I’m meeting Aviad in a few weeks to take measurements and brainstorm.
